The French Saint Joseph Orphanage is a magnificent 155-year-old building and has a 5,275 square meter garden with fruit trees. The building was active until 1957, but then became derelict. This beautiful garden of the French Saint Joseph Orphanage, which was renovated with the contributions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has been serving as a social facility under the name Tophane Mekan for a while.
