Suriye Passage, one of the oldest and largest passages in Beyoğlu, was built as three independent apartment buildings between 1901 and 1908, and became what it is today by connecting the buildings to each other with bridges. Today, there are leather shops, fur shops, coffee houses and tea houses in Syria Passage, and restaurants on the outside of the building. The second-hand shop in the passage, which provides period costumes for TV series, movies and music videos, can also be visited like a museum.
