Cercle d’Orient, also known as the Grand Club, one of the most magnificent buildings in Beyoğlu, was built as a residence by the statesman Abraham Pasha. It hosted the Cercle d’Orient, known as one of the first social clubs of the Ottoman Empire, which was opened with a ceremony in 1883, and took its name from there. Cercle D’Orient is remembered as the most important social club of the city. The Cercle D’Orient building entered the renovation process and after the renovation process, its name was changed to “Grand Pera”.
